How long can a bug live in a glass jar
You can keep bugs alive in a glass jar from anywhere from a few days to 6 weeks. The amount of time that a bug can live in a glass jar depends on which type of bug is in the jar and how good the jar is at providing everything the bug needs. Spiders can live in a jar with no food or water for weeks, fireflies can live in a glass jar for around 2 to 3 days!.
To extend the life of the bug in the glass jar make sure you do research on how the bug lives and what the bug needs to survive, some bugs will last longer if a moist paper towel is added to the jar!.
