How to make a mini exploding volcano

  • Bicarbonate of soda
  • Vinegar
  • Dish Soap
  • Food coloring (optional)

To make the volcano explode, follow these steps:

  1. fill the crater of your volcano with about 10% bicarbonate soda
  2. Add in a few drops of washing up liquid in the center of the bicarbonate of soda pile.
  3. Mix the vinegar with some red food coloring to look just like lava
  4. when your ready to make the volcano explode add in the vinegar / food coloring mixture and stand back!
